Below you will find county resources for water testing. Some counties provide more resources than others. Anoka To get a free well water testing kit, call 763-422-7063. Anoka County Community Health and Environmental Services helps Anoka County residents protect their drinking water. One way to assure quality drinking water is to have it tested. Annual testing is recommended. Test kits are available by calling 763-422-7063 or in person at: Anoka County Environmental Services Water samples are normally accepted on Mondays (8:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.) and Tuesdays (8:00 a.m. – noon). Samples are not accepted on holidays. If a holiday occurs on a Monday or Tuesday, please call before collecting and submitting your sample. A nominal fee will be charged for performing a Sanitary Analysis. If you would like your water analyzed for other components, please call the Environmental Services unit at 763-422-6985. Sherburne Water test kits are available to Sherburne County residents from the Zoning Office for a fee of $7.50. The kit includes a sample collection bottle, and water sampling instructions. Water samples are tested for nitrates and total coliform bacteria by Water Laboratories Inc, Elk River, MN. Your sample may also be tested for fluoride for an additional $18.00. Results are generally available within a week of testing.
